BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, FEBRUARY
1ST 2012 (CUOPM) – Resident Ambassador of the Republic of
china (Taiwan), His Excellency Miguel Li-Jey Tsao is crediting St. Kitts
and Nevis’ Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas for
crafting the blueprint of this vision of what is to become a major
tourism attraction.
Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony for the Agro-Tourism
Demonstration Farm and Official Opening of the Preparatory Office on
Tuesday, the Taiwanese diplomat noted that Prime Minister Douglas
visited Taiwan in March last year and met and hammered the Agreement
with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of China (Taiwan)
Timothy Yang, which laid the foundation for the project to be put in
place.
Chief of Technical Mission Mr. Shiue and Embassy’s First Secretary Mr.
Hans Chang were involved in drafting the Farm’s Cooperation Agreement.

Nevis.
“After meticulous evaluation, the specialists presented their findings
and final design to the Prime Minister, and received approval from the
Government,” said Ambassador Tsao.

dream to see their country prosper and thrive and in the coming months
ahead the tangible results will be seen.
