a month away and the official opening in 2 months many teams have
begun preparations for the 2012 season.
Powerhouses such as Ghetto Roots, Hitters and defending
champions Ghaut Bucs have all began various preparational
activities including team practices, try-outs, warm-up games

there were a number of athletes competed at meets held in Europe
and North America. Overall, the results were resounding. Kim Collins
opened his season with the 60m and 200m indoors at the UKA Aviva
International Match in London where he placed second in both

WILLIAMS HAILED FOR COMMITMENT TO HOME LAND
Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 20, 2012 (SKNIS):
Desai Williams, a national of St. Kitts and Nevis,
who resides and works in Canada, has been hailed as a true “son
of the soil” by the Minister of Sports Honourable Glenn Phillip
for his efforts in bridging the gap between the two countries.
In 2008, Williams brought a contingent of athletes to use the facilities
of the newly constructed Silver Jubilee
