BENJAMIN CHARGED WITH MURDER
BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (August 26th 2008)-On Tuesday 26th August 2008, Police formally arrested and charged Delvin Benjamin alias Jerimiah, 21 year- old of Cabbage Tree Project, Cayon, for the murder of Steve Pemberton of Ottley’s Village. Benjamin’s arrest came about following investigations into the shooting death of Pemberton on Saturday 23rd August 2008, at Italy, Ottley’s. He will appear before the court shortly, where he is expected to be remanded to prison.
 

POLICE UPROOT MARIJUANA PLANTS
BASSETERRE, St.Kitts, (August 25th 2008) - Police on Nevis conducted routine search operations at Clifton Estate on Saturday 23rd August 2008 and a total of 20 marijuana plants were found growing in several pots. The plants, which ranged from one to four feet in height, were taken into custody. No one was arrested for the find.
