Community Notice

The Electoral Office of St. Kitts and Nevis would like to remind the general public that the Register of Voters, which includes the names of persons who were registered as voters as at December 31, 2011, have been posted at two conspicuous places in each Polling Division in accordance with the provisions of Section 43 (1) of the National Assembly Elections Act (Cap. 2.01).

All registered voters are kindly requested to check the Register of Voters to ensure that their names are listed on the Register.

Any person who claims to be entitled to be registered as a voter and whose name, address and occupation has changed or are entered in an incorrect manner, may claim to be registered correctly by a Notice of Claim (Form No. 7). This must be submitted to the Registration Officer at the Electoral Office no later than Friday, February 10, 2012.

Any person whose name appears on the Register of Voters for an Electoral District may object to the registration of any person whose name is included in the said register. Persons who wish to make objection to names appearing on the Register should complete a Notice of Objection (Form No. 8) and submit it to the Registration Officer no later than Friday, February 10, 2012.

Notice of Claim and Notice of Objection Forms may be obtained at the Electoral Office in Basseterre and Charlestown.
